Started in July 2005, n-hanz services offers four main services; website design, audio podcasting, digital photography and desktop publishing. n-hanz services is the brainchild of Nick Hook. I take a slightly different angle to most people on the utilisation of computers in the business world. Graduating an Arts Degree with Honours University of Adelaide before taking up IT studies at Adelaide Institute of TAFE, where I majored in systems analysis, applications and COBOL programming. After graduating I worked for almost seven years in the IT department of a local health insurance company. Initially in a PC support role, I quickly moved into project management and then became the Information Systems Administrator for the company. Even while working at my day job I developed an interest in web design; designing and administering a couple of sites for his local sporting clubs, including the South Adelaide Football Club. After a while I found that I enjoyed the creative aspect of IT and decided to make the break and turn mys hobby into a business. I returned to the Adelaide Institute of TAFE to continue my studies, graduating from a Diploma in Information Technology (Website Development) with a sideline of multimedia. This has definitely furthered my knowledge and capabilities, which enables n-hanz to offer you, prospective clients, a wider range of services, including audio recording, design, e-commerce and a wider range of authoring tools.
